Woman Run Over By Matatu After Failing to pay 10 Shillings Fare

A woman was this morning killed when she was forcibly removed from a moving PSV in Kawangware after failing to pay the conducter 10 shillings.

The tragedy which took place during the early morning rush hour led to clashes between area residents who were protesting the death and the police.

According to witnesses, the woman was thrown out of the vehicle which then ran over her.

The vehicle was subsequently burnt down and its driver and conducter are being questioned by police.
